Legend Channel
The complete British console channel strip. Fat, forward and unmistakably musical.

One strip. Mic pre, filters, a musical 4-band EQ, compressor and gate, all modeled at the circuit level. The channel that ran through countless commercial records in the '90s and 2000s.
Why it's different: PCCN™
Most “analog” plugins fake it: a fixed saturation curve, an impulse-response snapshot, or a neural black box. The Legend Channel does something else. Our PCCN™ engine is built from the real circuit: the actual transformer, transistor and VCA stages from the original schematics, modeled from their device physics. It reacts to your signal the way the hardware does, at every gain setting and level.
Conventional DSP models the result: a fixed curve, or a snapshot of how the gear behaved at one setting. PCCN models the cause. It's built from the actual schematics and device equations: the transformer's magnetic hysteresis is solved in real time, and the amplifier and VCA stages are the exact solution of their real NE5534 / transistor circuits. It's a true circuit model, not a tanh curve, an IR snapshot or a neural capture, so it reacts to level and drive the way the hardware does, at every setting.
- A real circuit model, not a tanh, not an IR, not a neural guess.
- Emergent analog behavior: transformer bloom, VCA grab, level-dependent saturation.
- Built from the actual schematics + datasheet-verified components.
- Native. No iLok. No subscription. AU / VST3 / AAX on macOS, Windows & Linux.
What you get
- Mic/Line preamp with input-transformer drive + “Preamp Drive” gain-riding (push the iron without getting louder).
- 12 dB/oct high- and low-pass filters.
- Musical 4-band EQ (HF / HMF / LMF / LF · shelf or bell · proportional-Q).
- Full dynamics: compressor (ratio up to limit · auto release · auto-gain) + gate/expander (range · hysteresis · duck · external key).
- Output trim, fader, peak meter · presets · resizable UI (100–150%).
The honest part
We don't license the original name, and we won't pretend a famous engineer used it on 21 #1 records. What we will tell you: it's a faithful, circuit-level model of a legendary British console channel, built by one developer from the real schematics, and we think it sounds it. Don't take our word for it: download the demo, run it on your tracks, A-B it against whatever you've got.
Hear it
Switch between A (dry) and B (Legend Channel) while it plays. Loudness-matched, only the tone changes.
Vocal: preamp + compressor
Guitar: preamp drive + EQ
Web clips only tell you so much. The real test is your own material. Download the free demo and A-B it on your own tracks.
Try before you buy
Download the installer and use the plugin in Demo Mode (a brief noise burst plays periodically). When you buy, click ACTIVATE inside the plugin and select your license file. Demo mode is gone.
